About the Role
We’re hiring a Shift Supervisor at our production facility "Prairie Forge" in Parsons, KS to lead operations on the plant floor. You’ll guide a team of operators and technicians, oversee safety and quality standards, and ensure production runs efficiently. This is a leadership role for someone who leads by example, values teamwork, and takes pride in craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities during assigned shifts
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met at all times
- Monitor plant performance and resolve operational issues quickly
- Train, mentor, and coach operators and technicians
- Maintain accurate shift reports, production logs, and incident documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, QC, and maintenance teams to meet production targets
What We’re Seeking
Must Have
- U.S. citizenship with compliance to REAL ID and defense-related requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or energetics environments
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and production processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in energetics or defense-related manufacturing
- Technical training in chemical or industrial processes
- Proven ability to build team culture around accountability and pride in workmanship
