Position Summary

United Custodians is seeking a Housekeeper in Longview, WA to help maintain clean, sanitary, and organized environments for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows checklists and cleaning standards, and can work efficiently while delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens/break areas, and high-touch points according to established procedures
• Empty trash and replace liners; dispose of waste properly
• Restock supplies (paper products, soap, and other consumables) as needed
• Follow site-specific checklists and quality standards to ensure consistent results
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly (including proper dilution and labeling when applicable)
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to a supervisor promptly
• Maintain a professional, respectful presence while working in client spaces

Required Qualifications

• 0–5 years of housekeeping experience (commercial or residential)
• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning checklists, and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial cleaning environments (offices, facilities, or multi-unit properties)
• Familiarity with common cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, mops, microfiber systems, etc.)
• Comfort working independently and managing time effectively

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry typical cleaning supplies and equipment
• Comfort working around cleaning chemicals and following safe handling practices
• Work may be performed in occupied spaces; professionalism and discretion are important
