How Your Role Will Shape Our Success
We're seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating innovative and efficient structures. As a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and analyzing various structural systems across a range of projects. Not only will you design the structure’s framing system, but you will also participate in its layout and aesthetic appearance, interacting directly with clients and other sub-consultants. Our commitment to your professional development extends further through multi-disciplinary training, where you'll have the opportunity to broaden your skills and expertise beyond structural engineering.
But that's not all. In addition to the exciting mixed-use projects you'll be working on, this role offers a unique opportunity for career growth. We provide a fast track to project management, where you'll have the chance to lead teams, manage budgets, and hone your leadership skills. Moreover, our senior management team is committed to mentoring and developing talented individuals like yourself, providing guidance and support as you progress in your career, including supporting your pathway to professional licensure. If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and have a keen eye for detail, we invite you to bring your expertise to our team and help shape the built environment of tomorrow.
What You'll Do
- Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for gravity and lateral design of structures, including concrete, masonry, and steel members.
- Produce construction documents for new design and restoration projects.
- Perform site visits to observe construction.
- Assist with restoration projects for existing structures.
What You Bring
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering or from an ABET-accredited University, a Master's degree is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Strong computer, writing, time management, communication, and team skills are necessary.
- Solid knowledge of structural engineering.
- Engineering Intern or Engineering in Training Certification, or the ability to obtain it.
- 0-5 years of experience in structural design of precast, large multifamily residential, hotel/hospitality, and/or parking.
Coursework:
