Why You’ll Love It Here
- You don’t need experience in every service area. Some tracks are entry-level, and we provide training.
- Build hands-on expertise in water treatment systems, sewer and drain service, excavation, or water damage clean-up and restoration.
- Get matched to a career track that fits your strengths and preferred working style rather than being pushed into a one-size-fits-all position.
- Work with a team that values safe work, accountability, professional customer service, honest communication, and follow-through.
- Learn practical mechanical troubleshooting and field-service skills with opportunities to expand your technical capabilities.
Your New Role
- Work as a Field Service Technician serving customers and projects throughout North Alabama, which includes Huntsville, Birmingham, Decatur, Albertville, Gadsden, and Anniston, AL markets.
- Perform hands-on field work within your assigned water treatment, sewer and drain, excavation, or water clean-up/restoration track.
- Diagnose problems, operate appropriate tools and equipment, and learn how residential and field-service systems work.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, including explaining field conditions accurately without exaggeration or pressure.
- Maintain accurate documentation and take ownership of assigned equipment and follow-through.
- Follow company safety procedures and role-specific technical standards.
- Meet the physical and environmental requirements of your assigned track, which may include lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds and working around wastewater, mud, demolition, or contaminated conditions.
- Depending on your track, dispatch to customer calls or report to a shop and work alongside a field crew.
- Water Treatment Service generally operates weekday daytime hours with limited scheduled Saturday work and no routine overnight on-call.
- Sewer & Drain generally operates weekday daytime hours, followed after training by a Friday-to-Friday on-call rotation once management determines you are ready.
