A busy private vessel with an excellent Captain and long‑standing crew is seeking their next Bosun. The current Bosun has been onboard for several years, and the yacht is committed to ensuring a thorough handover for the successful candidate. Experienced Deckhands or Lead Deckhand with solid superyacht backgrounds and an interest in fishing and/or scuba diving are encouraged to apply.

Bosun will relieve Mate at times, so really looking for a crew member who is continuously wanting to gain new skills and develop within the industry. Reliable and trustworthy.

LOCATION: Western Australia

ITINERARY: Perth, Rottnest Island, Exmouth, Rowley Shoals and the Kimberley region for 2026 Australia and Indonesia for 2027

START DATE: October 2026

SALARY: $DOE including Super + Annual Leave

CONTRACT: Full-time

CERTIFICATES: AMSA Master 5, Yachtmaster or Coxswains + STCW & Seafarers Medical

EXPERIENCE:

• Deckhand with a minimum of 1+ years’ experience aboard superyachts. Longevity and commitment to a vessel are highly valued.

• Strong tender‑driving skills.

• Well‑organised on deck, with a genuine interest in mentoring and training junior crew.

• Fishing and diving experience will be considered an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

Australian or New Zealand crew, or full working rights for Australia.

Male due to cabin arrangements.
