Your New Role
- Lead Commercial Projects: Take full ownership of federal/government construction projects from startup through closeout, overseeing execution, coordination, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project deliverables.
- Stay Connected to the Field: Regularly visit active project sites to monitor construction progress, verify quality, and coordinate with field crews and subcontractors.
- Manage Budgets and Schedules: Track project costs, schedules, deadlines, and resources to keep work on time and within budget.
- Handle Estimating and Bidding: Develop accurate construction estimates and competitive bids using your estimating experience and industry knowledge.
- Review Plans and Specifications: Evaluate blueprints, project documents, scopes of work, and building code requirements to support accurate project execution.
- Use Industry Software: Work with Bluebeam, RS Means, RS Means Online, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat for estimating, documentation, cost management, and project coordination.
- Support Government Contract Work: Apply your knowledge of government contracts and project requirements when managing applicable commercial construction projects.
- Location: This is a full-time, office-based position with regular travel to active project sites as needed.
