Assembly Technician (Machine Build)

Job Description:

• Individual will build and assemble mechanical, pneumatic, electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment for automated custom-build production tools and systems. Individual utilizes blueprint drawings for pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical prints, to assemble machines. Problem solving skills are critical for machine testing and troubleshooting. Upon machine build completion, individual will support installation at customer's facilities, make modifications, upgrades, and repairs.

Experience/Interest with:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Power & hand tools
• Machine building or similar
• Blueprint reading
• Robotic knowledge is appreciated

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years of machine building or mechanical systems experience, is appreciated
• A valid driver's license
• Lifting, bending, kneeling and standing will occur daily
• Capable of reading blueprints and schematics - ensuring accurate assembly
• Select proper materials and tools according to blueprint
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Construct small to large parts, components and systems to create new products
• Abilities to work independently and in a team atmosphere
• Overtime and travel is required - occasionally throughout the year
