Auto-apply to jobs with Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok

Otto runs an MCP server. Connect it once, and ask your assistant for jobs in your own words — it searches 1M live openings and has Otto apply to the ones you pick, on the employer's own hiring system.

The only thing you need to paste

https://ottoroles.com/mcp

The same address in all three. You can disconnect from your assistant's own settings at any time.

What you can then ask for

Claude

  1. Open claude.ai/customize/connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Paste https://ottoroles.com/mcp.
  3. Under OAuth client, choose Register automatically. The default option does not work with Otto.
  4. Click Add, then Connect, and sign in. Then ask Claude for jobs.

ChatGPT

Otto is in ChatGPT's plugin directory: add the Otto Roles plugin. Or add it by URL as a custom MCP plugin:

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Otto Roles and paste https://ottoroles.com/mcp under Connection.
  3. Tick I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  4. Install it, start a new chat, and type @ to pick Otto Roles.

Grok

  1. Open grok.com/connectors and click New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Paste https://ottoroles.com/mcp.
  3. Sign in when Grok asks. Then ask Grok for jobs.

If it doesn't connect

Two things cause almost all of it: in Claude, leaving OAuth client on its default instead of Register automatically — remove the connector and add it again, as that setting cannot be changed afterwards — or pasting ottoroles.com without the /mcp on the end.

You need an Otto account for the applying part

Searching works without one. Create it in about a minute — upload a CV, and that is the whole of the setup. Your first application every day is free.
