We are seeking a dedicated Quick Lane Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing thorough multi-point inspections to OEM completion standards as well as completing recommended maintenance in a timely manner, cooperating and communicating productively and respectfully with quick lane staff.
Qualifications
- ASE certification preferred (or willingness to pursue)
- Prior experience at an OEM-certified dealership
- Comfortable with a fast-pace, high-volume work environment
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Professionalism and politeness to staff, Grows Oriented
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, and multi-point inspections
- Complete Digital MPI Inspections with videos and pictures for every vehicle
- Identify additional service needs and communicate findings with advisors
- Follow manufacture specifications on all maintenance and inspection procedures
- Stay up-to-date with required OEM training
- Stay active in the shop and work proficiently to complete vehicles for our customers in the expected repair time window
Requirements
- Past experience as a Service Technician or similar role in automotive repair
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance intervals and inspection procedures
- Strong attention to detail and safety first mentality
- Ability to use shop tools and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver's license and relevant certifications preferred
