Purpose of the position
_We are looking for a_ _proactive and business‑oriented_ _Legal Counsel to join our in‑house legal team at CSG. This role will support the company’s operations by providing_ _legal advice across a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters_ _, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to enable business growth in a compliant and risk‑aware manner._
Main Responsibilities
· _Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day business matters_
· _Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g. customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, framework agreements)_
· _Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including corporate, commercial, and data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, where applicable)_
· _Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks, proposing practical and business‑oriented solutions_
· _Support corporate governance matters, including internal policies, procedures, and documentation_
· _Cooperate with external legal advisors when required and manage external counsel relationships_
· _Monitor legislative changes relevant to the company’s activities and advise on their impact_
· _Support internal projects, transformations, and cross‑functional initiatives from a legal perspective_
· _Contribute to ongoing improvement of legal processes, templates, and knowledge sharing within CSG_

What to Expect
· _The work is office based._
· _Fixed- term contract 3-6 months with possibility of extention._
· _The dress code is smart, but business-casual is acceptable in the office._
· _The working environment can be stressful, as much of the work is aimed at meeting tight delivery deadlines, although you will be supported by the team._

Requirements
· _Law degree required; full legal qualification/admission to practice is an advantage but not mandatory_
· _Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a legal, corporate governance, or company secretarial role, preferably in an in-house environment or a reputable law firm_
· _Strong knowledge of commercial, contract, and corporate law, including corporate governance and company secretarial matters_
· _Demonstrated experience supporting board matters, corporate housekeeping, director/shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, and legal entity governance_
· _Proven experience in contract drafting and review; negotiation experience is an advantage_
· _Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives_
· _Strong communication and stakeholder management skills_
· _Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage_
· _High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment_
