Turning Operator

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate complex components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust cutting parameters as necessary to optimize production efficiency and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring continuous process improvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist or lathe operator with expertise in lathe machining.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining practices.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.

3-5 years
