Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Ruby On Rails Volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in software development. As a volunteer, you will work closely with our development team to enhance and maintain our platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features.
• Maintain and improve existing codebase using Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Participate in system architecture and database design discussions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Postgres and database design.
• Knowledge of backend development and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with HAML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Understanding of Redis and system architecture.
