Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nurses or supervisors.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control protocols.
• Support residents in transferring, positioning, and ambulation to promote comfort and safety.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Follow state regulations and facility policies to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Utah (or ability to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and support residents up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred but not required.
