Manufacturing Engineers

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Hanover, New Oxford, East Berlin PA area.

Essential Functions of the Job:

\--Lead Capital Improvement Projects (handle 3-5 projects at a time)

\--Be involved in all Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Lead Kaizen events in areas of 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Set-up Reduction/SMED, etc) (Get involved with daily lean activities of improving quality, cost, delivery and safety metrics)

\--Re-layout work areas/conduct time studies to improve productivity, safety, and quality

\--Work on reducing inventories and improving turns

\--Work on improving the efficiencies of equipment and adding automation where possible

\--Work on quality improvements and help with programming of machining equipment for increased productivity.

DESIRED Skills and Experience:

\--Companies prefer a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

\--Need someone who is technical with 2 plus years working on equipment improvements. Seeking a more experienced individual for another plant that pays 90-100k.

\--Working experience with Lean manufacturing and leading CI projects

\--Strong communicator with all levels of workers
