Reports to: Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager

Job Description:

Lot Operations is the backbone of the Team here at Mid Kansas Auto Auction. It is a part-time position, some overtime will be required.

Starting pay is $13.00 an hour. Pay increase after 90 days.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

_The work of the lot ops crew member will require exposure in all of the elements, inside and outside._

Perform sale day duties i.e. moving & parking vehicles

*

Managing and marking the back lot for customer vehicles

*

Responsible for maintaining and updating all facets of facility maintenance

*

Actively report progress to Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager

*

Must be flexible as there are frequent changes of plans and customer interruptions

*

Engage in all team efforts and promote teamwork

*

Resolve any customer issues in a friendly, courteous manner

*

Establish a strong working relationships with teammates

*

Walking cars, checking details, verifying work has been completed

*

Performing inventory audits of the assets on property (cars, equipment needed to perform duties, etc.)

*

Assist the marketing team in setting up/tearing down for monthly promotional events

*

Various other daily tasks assigned by Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager

Qualifications include:

*

Strong verbal communication and interaction skills required

*

Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, squat, knee and walk for prolonged periods of time, must be able to lift 5-10 pounds.

Vision abilities required

Exposure to weather conditions, fumes, and noises

*

Professional customer etiquette

*

Self-motivated and goal oriented

*

Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
