Senior Architecture Engineer

Job responsibilities included:

\- Lead and manage architectural design projects of varying scales and complexity, ensuring creative, innovative, and functional design solutions.

\- Provide clear direction to junior architects and design teams, offering mentorship and guidance in their professional development.

\- Develop design concepts and schematic drawings, ensuring that the design vision aligns with client expectations and project requirements.

\- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, vision, and objectives for each project, and translate these into architectural designs.

\- Present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, addressing feedback and incorporating revisions as necessary.

\- Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for future work.

\- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that design milestones are met, and projects remain on schedule and within budget.

\- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to integrate building systems and technical requirements into the design.

\- Manage the preparation and review of design documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and presentations.

\- Ensure that designs comply with all relevant local codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.

\- Conduct site visits to monitor the construction progress, ensuring design intent is maintained and quality is upheld throughout the construction phase.

\- Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring they meet the firm’s standards for design excellence, accuracy, and completeness.

\- Champion innovative design solutions, incorporating new technologies and materials to enhance the functionality and sustainability of buildings.

\- Ensure projects align with sustainability goals and LEED or other green building certifications when applicable.

\- Contribute to the development of project budgets and ensure that costs are managed efficiently throughout the project.

\- Monitor project timelines and coordinate resources to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications:

\- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in architecture / fine arts / Applied Arts or any similar field from an accredited institution.

\- Licensed Architect (preferably with LEED or other sustainable design certification).

\- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design

\- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in a variety of project types (e.g., commercial, residential, civic, institutional).

\- Expertise in design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

\- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction processes.

\- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and teams simultaneously.

\- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

\- Ability to think strategically, solve complex design challenges, and deliver high quality.
