Dispatcher

We are looking for a resourceful and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Dispatcher. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our rideshare services in the Bay Area. The Dispatcher will manage our dispatch phone line, coordinate ride assignments, support drivers on the road, and ensure a seamless experience for our riders. This position will require working during non-traditional hours, including weekends, late nights, and early mornings.

Responsibilities:

\- Manage the dispatch phone line to address urgent driver and rider issues

\- Assign and coordinate rides efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs

\- Provide real-time support to drivers via phone and text

\- Monitor trips through backend software to ensure service quality

\- Assist in onboarding new drivers by processing necessary documents

\- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications:

\- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin)

\- Familiarity with rideshare or transportation industry is preferred

\- Experience with dispatch or transportation software is a plus

\- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure

\- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

\- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and use of Google Sheets or Excel

\- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

\- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
