Position: Mexican Chef

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $3000 - $3500 per month

Local Allowance: 250,000 NGN per month

Key Responsibilities:

\- Develop and design an authentic Mexican menu, including traditional dishes and innovative creations.

\- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Mexican dishes in accordance with the menu and hotel standards.

\- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the highest culinary standards.

\- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage.

\- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

\- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to recipes and procedures.

\- Collaborate with the culinary team to create special menus and events.

\- Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek ways to enhance the guest dining experience.

Requirements:

\- Proven experience as a Mexican Chef, preferably in a high-end hotel or fine dining restaurant.

\- Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine, including traditional and contemporary dishes.

\- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.

\- Excellent cooking skills and creativity in menu development.

\- Strong leadership and team management skills.

\- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

\- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

\- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
