Role Overview
The Apprentice QA Engineer at SAGEA will assist in testing and validating AI systems, pipelines, and experimental models under supervision. This is a learning-focused apprenticeship where you will gain hands-on exposure to model evaluation, data workflows, and deployment practices while contributing to the reliability of our systems.
What You Will Do
- Execute test plans for AI models and supporting pipelines
- Assist in validating data processing, preprocessing, and ETL workflows
- Help identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues
- Work with QA and research engineers to maintain reproducibility of experiments
- Support automation of basic tests and documentation of results
- Learn QA best practices for AI research and deployment
What We Are Looking For
- Basic programming skills (Python preferred)
- Interest in AI, machine learning, or software quality
- Detail-oriented and methodical in testing and validation
- Willingness to learn from hands-on experience in a research-focused environment
