SENIOR HELPERS OF RIVERSIDE- ESTABLISHED IN 2002

_DUTIES:_

_Promote resident rights and maintain a safe and comfortable environment_

- _Assist clients with activities of daily living_

_\- Provide companionship and emotional support_

_\- Administer medication reminders_

_\- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary_

_\- Perform light housekeeping tasks_

_\- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs_

_Qualifications_ _:_

_\- Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred_

_\- Knowledge of resident rights and principles of patient care_

_\- Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics_

_\- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written_

_\- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor_

_\- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team_

_\- Familiarity with medication administration systems is a plus_

Requirements

- CAregistration as home care aide- we can help you with this process if you do not have an active registration number.

\- Cooking skills for meal preparation

\- Previous experience in home care is beneficial- proficiency in direst support services
