We are looking for a self-motivated junior draughtsman who can work alongside several specialists in our company.
Responsible for creating technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.
You will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Modify or create detailed part and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
- Reverse engineering of samples provided by customers and implement it in a 2D or 3D drawing.
- Liaise with sale engineers or customers for any information or design changes.
- Support customers and suppliers with technical requirements.
- Provide technical support to the various departments of the company (quality, production and sales).
- Modifying or compiling bills of materials on the ERP system.
- Ensuring final design is compliant with required standard/s.
- Providing engineering support to various departments and with suppliers on new projects.
Requirements
- Draughting qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical draughting.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using SolidWorks.
