Your responsibilities:
- Leading role at the intensive care unit and collaborate closely with the existing team of veterinarians and support staff.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior veterinarians and support teams in intensive care medicine.
- Perform and oversee advanced intensive care treatments and emergency management.
- Develop and implement new medical protocols and treatment standards.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary patient care.
- Participate in the on-call and emergency duty rota.
What we are looking for:
- A completed degree in Veterinary Medicine with a recognized specialist qualification (preferably Diplomate ECVECC/ACVECC or completed residency).
- Several years of experience in a veterinary intensive care unit, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong clinical skills combined with compassion for patients and their owners.
- Excellent team player with a high degree of responsibility and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and the advancement of veterinary medicine.
- You are open to learn and speak german
