Technical Business Development Manager - DNA Applications

We are collaborating with them to seek a talented, dynamic, and motivated Technical Business Development Manager - DNA Applications, based in Korea. This is a unique opportunity to be a key member of the team that will be building the Company’s future in Asia-Pacific. Position Overview: In line with the Company strategic growth objectives, we are looking for an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to take the helm of their DNA (PN, PDRN) product range, including Sodium DNA, PN and PDRN. This role blends a 50/50 focus between in-depth technical expertise and business development initiatives. As a technical reference and product advocate, the successful candidate will act as an account and product manager, leveraging their knowledge to bolster the Company market presence in APAC. Key Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert on the DNA (PN, PDRN) product portfolio, providing robust technical support and guidance to the Company’s clients. Spearhead business development efforts to identify and capitalize on market opportunities for DNA (PN, PDRN) products in APAC with a focus on Korea and China Manage distributor relationships, offering technical knowledge and support to ensure a strong market presence and customer satisfaction. Influence product development by aligning R&D initiatives with market demands and technological advancements. Conduct thorough market intelligence to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders across different cultures and regions. Lead cross-functional project contributions to support business growth and strategic goals. Requirements: A minimum of 10-15 years of specialized experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on DNA (PN, PDRN)-based products. Demonstrated expertise in technical and scientific leadership in the biotech sector. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management in the biotech industry Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams across various continents (Asia, Europe, US) to contribute to strategic process. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to effectively operate within a global framework and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and updates to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PhD is highly advantageous. In-depth knowledge of the DNA (PN, PDRN) product market, regulatory standards, and product lifecycle management. Fluency in English and Korean languages. Chinese is a plus. Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region as needed.
