Preston Auto Group's busy dealership is looking for a _detailer_ who obsesses over every detail and loves that new car smell. We work hard, but we take good care of the people who make our success possible -- and for the right person, the rewards can be outstanding.

As a Detailer, you'll be responsible for getting every vehicle -- new and pre-owned -- showroom ready. You'll train other techs, keep supplies stocked, catch damage before it becomes a problem, and make sure every car passes a final quality check before hitting the frontline.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist other make-ready and detail technicians
• Maintain inventory and order make-ready supplies
• Act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles
• Detail client vehicles as needed
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before they're brought to the frontline
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries
• Attend department meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
