Job Summary

As an Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of piping systems for complex energy projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions that meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements across all phases of project execution._

_Key Responsibilities_

_Design _

• _Develop detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards._
• _Perform pipe stress analysis and ensure appropriate material selection, routing, and support design._
• _Prepare and review piping specifications, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical documentation._
• _Review vendor equipment specifications, and drawings, in compliance with the piping design._
• _3D Modeling of piping systems, conceptual steel supporting systems, electrical designs and equipment._

_Project Execution_

• _Contribute to concept design, FEED, and detailed design phases across a range of project types._
• _Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical teams to ensure design integration._
• _Participate and/or facilitate model reviews and maintain the 3D model integrity throughout the design lifecycle._

_Leadership & Quality Assurance_

• _Provide guidance to junior designers and check design deliverables for accuracy and compliance._
• _Support project engineers and managers by providing input to schedules, resource planning, and deliverable tracking._
• _Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in design._

_Client & Site Interface_

• _Support client design reviews and respond to technical queries._
• _Participate in site visits for data collection, field verifications, or construction support as needed._

_Qualifications & Skills_

• _Diploma or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field._
• _Intermediate role: 5 -10 years of experience in piping design within the Oil & Gas sector. _
• _Senior role: 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in leading piping design efforts on large-scale projects._
• _Proficiency with general piping design and 3D modeling software Plant 3D, BIM Collaborate pro, Navisworks, AutoCAD._
• _Experience in stress analysis and CAESAR II, will be considered an asset._
• _Solid knowledge of EU, North American piping codes, standards, and industry best practices._
• _Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills._
• _Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team._
• _Strong project management skills and attention to detail._
• _Licensed Greek professional engineer with stamping capacity._
• _Fluent in English both verbal and writing._
